Product Description

"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

We are all weary. Sometimes that means we need sleep, sometimes that means we need to be loved, and sometimes we need something deeper. It has been said that there is a difference between sleep and rest. Not all sleep gives us rest. As life drags on and we fight the battles day in and day out to honor Christ, to just survive, we can get exhausted. As the spiritual war that rages around us keeps us on constant guard and alert, we can lose focus and feel as if we have no strength left in our hearts.

Psalm 27:23-14 says I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD…

The easy thing to do is to get frustrated by life and lose perspective, but the Lord tells us to wait on Him. If we trust in God the daily battles we face become so much easier. Faith will guard us. We shall mount up like eagles, we shall run and not get tired, we shall walk and not faint.

When we rest in God we can have the endurance for those moments in life where we have to soar. The scary times in life with no ground beneath our feet go from terrifying to exhilarating. The cliff is no longer menacing, the air is no longer unknown, rather we fly free and unburdened. When we rest in God we can run and endure. Those exhausting times were you must make haste just to survive suddenly become times of brisk adrenaline paced adventure. When we rest in God those days we are simply walking through life and feel as if we don't even have enough strength to stand on our feet, those are days of the past. Life becomes less of endurance and haste, but a time of joy, love, peace, and hope.

This hat has Isaiah 40:31 inscribed on it to remind you that your strength lies in trusting God, that He will refresh and renew you.

When's the last time you really felt rest?
